HeyOrca – Social Media Management

HeyOrca is an online, calendar-based social media planner. It allows us to manage, edit, preview, and post across multiple social media platforms. We use it to plan, preview, and post social media content, and to get feedback and approval on social media content from our clients.
Why We Love It
Our clients love its user-friendly interface that makes previewing, editing, or commenting on posts easy. We love that we can manage posts, organize content, and make edits for multiple platforms from one location. And we can’t get enough of HeyOrca’s excellent customer service!
Vimeo – Video Reviews
What It Is
Vimeo is an ad-free video collaboration and distribution tool. We use it to host videos, share videos, and to get feedback on video drafts.
Why We Love It
In addition to being completely ad-free, Vimeo also offers a review link on any video you upload. The link allows users to type notes over any frame of the video. Our clients love its intuitive controls, and our team loves how easy it makes receiving feedback from clients.
Pics.io – Asset Management
What It Is
Pics.io is a searchable, sharable digital library that works with Google Drive. It is an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes managing our Google Drive asset library much easier. Without it, it would be impossible to keep track of our 3+ TB of digital assets!
Why We Love It
We love having the ability to search our extensive asset drive by meaningful types, keywords, and tags. Being able to view our drive folder’s content with thumbnails makes finding the right asset much easier. And we love that we can share custom, secure collections with our client so that they can do the same!
Slack – Interoffice Communications
What It Is
Slack is an instant messenger built for getting things done. It allows us to organize our project communications by channels to keep everything in its own lane.
Why We Love It
I use the Slack reminders as a personal secretary. It allows me to organize and prioritize communications across projects. My team loves it because it keeps us all on the same page with every single project without having to send and read hundreds of emails per day.
Paymo – Project Management
What It Is
Paymo is a project management software designed around the way we work. It is a task-based system with numerous customizable views. It has built-in time tracking, Gantt charts, and scheduling aids that all communicate with each other for a fully-integrated management system.
Why We Love It
Time tracking through paymo is so easy, and there are numerous ways to track time depending on how you like to work! The customizable views allow me to see if we’re on track for any given project or task at a glance. This has been a huge time-saver for me!
Google Sites – Client Management
What It Is
Google Sites is a new tool from the beloved G Suite. It is a quick, easy, and extremely user-friendly website building tool with a drag & drop functionality.
Why We Love It
We use Google Sites to create a ‘client portal’ for every one of our clients where they can access deliverables, invoices, and assets for each project. Our clients love having quick and easy access to all deliverables and communications in one place. We love how quick and easy it is to create a fully-functioning client website!
