Job Overview:

Do you want to work for one of Ad Age’s Top 25 Best Places to Work? RBA is looking for a smart, driven, and creative Brand Strategist Copywriter to join our team on a project basis. We have immediate projects available that require a unique combination of strategic thinking and exceptional writing skills. Remote work is available.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Brand Strategist Copywriter Contractor at RBA, you will use your expertise to develop creative concepts, brand messaging, and storytelling that resonates with our clients’ target audience. Key responsibilities include:

— Collaborating with clients, creative teams, and account executives to develop brand strategies that drive business objectives.

— Developing creative concepts, brand messaging, and storytelling that effectively communicate the client’s value proposition and brand identity.

— Writing and editing copy for various marketing materials, including websites, social media, print ads, and video scripts.

— Ensuring all copy is on brand, on message, and on strategy.

— Conducting research and analysis to inform brand strategy and messaging.

 

Requirements:

— A strong work portfolio showcasing your expertise in brand strategy and copywriting.

— Exceptional writing skills with experience in storytelling, messaging, and creating engaging copy.

— Strategic thinking with the ability to develop brand strategies that drive business objectives.

— Experience with StoryBrand framework is a plus.

— Ability to work collaboratively and respond professionally to direction, constructive critique, and client feedback.

ABOUT THE JOB

The junior digital content strategist is RBA’s trusted go-to resource for everything digital; always up-to-date on the latest emerging trends and opportunities, this strategist works with internal teams and extended family to empower everyone to create Work That Wins; at the end of the day, the digital content strategist embodies all of the RBA core values by:

 

— working Full Team Ahead by collaborating with all account, creative, and media team members during brainstorms, planning, and execution to ensure content ideas stay on strategy.

using their knowledge of social and cultural trends to Get Shit Done by driving innovation and results with digital content

— showing radical Client Love with an intimate knowledge of client brands, goals, and business objectives to ensure everything we do goes after these benchmarks aggressively, every single time

—  displaying an eagerness to Learn For Life by developing new and creative methods to generate brand awareness and consumer engagement 

—  being Seriously Awesome by helping the entire team to create motivating content in all formats and across all channels

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

—  Source and curate organic and paid content for communities on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn; manage content calendar, ensuring that it aligns with content strategy

—  Understand all phases on content development, from audience to insight to production and roll out
work with clients and internal team to identify brand and campaign objectives and goals while establishing specific KPIs for content and engagement across platforms

—  Coordinate with clients and work cross-functionally with internal teams on content creation; develop content strategies for campaigns and digital experiences; assist strategy team with development of personas, customer journeys, and functional and content requirements; assist in the development and evolution of playbooks

—  Work directly with the Media Director to help oversee day-to-day work of junior social & content team – determining appropriate tasks and reviewing reports and deliverables as necessary

— Inspire new ideas for ongoing growth and greater engagement within our client’s online communities – proactively producing POVs and pitching new opportunities

— Stay up-to-date and maintain fluency with the latest cultural trends, social tactics, platform evolution, and industry news; impart digital and social industry learnings and experiences to our internal team and clients

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

—  2-3 years of experience with creating organic and paid content for social media, managing content calendars, and assisting in the development of overall digital marketing strategies

—  Well-versed in digital media best practices

—  Deep knowledge of the relationship between various digital media channels

—  Creative thinker
